The Healing Project: Affirm Wholeness

Life is an experience to be devoured. Bad experiences teach us lessons that can improve our quality of life, if we allow. Good experiences encourage us to keep growing.

Along the way, there arises a need for life support. It can show up in the form of therapy, art, a conversation, a sermon, a book, a blog, a pet, a plant, or another person.

Bibliotherapy is a form of self-care that has helped to bring peace to many a soul.

One of the great metaphysical teachers of our time was Louise Hay (October 8, 1926-August 30, 2017), an author and metaphysical teacher whose life purpose was to elevate the thinking of her readers. She promoted the art of self-care and self-healing through the power of our thoughts and our words.

Affirmations were a significant part of her ministry.

Experience shows that “to decide” is only the first step. We must “do.” Doing positive affirmations yields miraculous results.

In her book, The Power Within You, she emphasizes the importance of changing our self-talk.

We can begin by consciously choosing words that will eliminate what we no longer deem fruitful from our lives. The next step is to identify positive, life-altering words that will increase the manifestation of good in our lives.

By reprogramming our consciousness, we stimulate the will to fund positive behaviors; thereby, attracting a new, sustained flow of divine energy.

By speaking clearly into our lives about what we want and do not want, the release of unwanted habits and energies are sure to follow.

We deserve the best…every day. We are worthwhile…every day.

Everything we need to know will be revealed to us in a timely manner.

We must claim health and choose to live more abundantly.

Let’s challenge ourselves to affirm something beautiful for our lives…every day.

“Be willing to take the first step, no matter how small it is. Concentrate on the fact that you are willing to learn. Absolute miracles will happen.”

~ Louise Hay
